Help & FAQ

The common questions, answered plainly.

Is WonderTrail free to use?

Yes. The site is free for families and works without an account. We don’t ask for any information about your child.

Why don’t you use star ratings?

Because one number can’t tell you whether a place will suit your child. Instead we give structured “What to expect” notes — noise, lighting, crowds, quiet spaces — each labelled with its source.

What do the source labels mean?

“Venue says” is information the venue gave us. “Parents confirm” comes from families who have been. “WonderTrail checked” means we verified it ourselves.

A session says “Check before travelling” — why?

It means we aren’t certain the time is current — often for one-off, seasonal or holiday sessions. A wasted trip is the worst outcome, so we’d rather flag it than guess.

Which areas do you cover?

We’re starting in East London: Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham and Waltham Forest. More areas will follow once the local map is deep and reliable.

I run a venue — can I list my SEND session?

Yes, that’s exactly the kind of listing we want. In this prototype the listings are illustrative; a venue form is on the way.
