How WonderTrail works

One question, answered honestly: is there a SEND-friendly session, when is it, and will it suit my child?

WonderTrail helps parents and carers of children with additional needs find days out and activities that will actually suit their child — with the information nobody else surfaces well: when the quiet or SEND sessions are on, and what to expect when you get there.

What we promise

  • Session times are the hero. Days, exact times, term-time and holiday changes, and whether a session is confirmed.
  • Everything is date-stamped. You can always see when a time was last checked.
  • When we’re not sure, we say so. Uncertain sessions are marked “Check before travelling” rather than presented as certain.
  • No star ratings. A single score can’t tell you what a visit will feel like, so we use structured “What to expect” information instead.
  • Every claim shows its sourceVenue says, Parents confirm, or WonderTrail checked. We never present an unsupported claim as confirmed.
  • Trust is never for sale. No paid ranking, and we never sell family data.

Where we are

We’re starting deliberately deep rather than thin and national — beginning in East London across Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham and Waltham Forest. A well-populated local map beats a sparse country-wide one.

Suggest a place

Know a brilliant SEND session other families should know about? That’s how the local map grows. In this prototype the listings are illustrative examples; a suggestion form will let venues and parents add and keep sessions current.
